Mum, Philomena Kelly and her baby Habilah were presented with their special Mother’s Day gift created by Family Partnership Worker Cecilia Brian.
Maningrida families in the ANFPP Top End celebrated Mother’s Day this year by making special artworks that stimulate bub’s brain development, boost mum’s self-esteem and emphasise family strengths.
Maningrida Nurse Home Visitors, Debbie Smith and Minna Huotari, with Family Partnership Worker, Cecilia Brian found that the families were enthusiastic in creating their artwork.
"They showed a deep sense of connectedness and were eager to share cultural knowledge," says Debbie.
"Happy Mother’s Day to all the ANFPP mums.”
